Safe Routes to School
Neighborhood (non-arterial) streets are meant for people to be able to live next to, with comfort and safety. People should be able to comfortably walk dogs, play with kids their in the front yard, garden in the planting strip, walk to get groceries, or bike with their kids to school. A change from 25 MPH to 20 MPH for neighborhood streets is one small step we can take to protect the quality of life on our neighborhood streets.
