What We're Doing

Queen Anne Greenways (QAG) is a forum for interested residents of Queen Anne Hill to work together to increase mobility and accessibility for people of all ages and physical abilities. This includes walking, cycling, and driving, with an emphasis on safety. We work to get signage developed and put in place, calm traffic and improve intersections with stop signs or other means to help make them safer.

Some of Queen Anne Greenways' current projects are:

  • E-W Lake Union Bike Network
  • Roy St Bike Lane Upgrade: We have applied for a Neighborhood Street Fund to upgrade the existing bike lanes on Roy St to be family friendly.
  • Mercer St Bike Lane Extension: We are working to extend the Mercer St protected bike lanes and sidewalk (that pass underneath highway 99) to 9th Ave which will be the future key North-South in the neighborhood.
  • Do you want to create a better South Lake Union AAA east-west bike route? Get involved with our top 2016 priority for District 7!
