What We're Doing

Maple Leaf Greenways is a group of neighbors like you who are working to make their streets safer and more comfortable for everybody.

Our current priority is on safe I-5 Crossings. The interstate 5 divides the neighborhoods of District 4 and prevents people from walking and biking east to west. Northeast Seattle Greenways wants to solve this by creating safer sidewalks, bike lanes, and curb ramps on key crossings and explore the creation of a new crossing or lid. However, we can use your help to achieve this!

What We've Done

  • Crowd sourced mapping: We scouted and identified a crowd-sourced map of important walking and biking routes (see map below – which is now out of date).
