What We've Done

Our Victories

  • 17th Ave NW Neighborhood Greenway: We have been instrumental in helping make the planned 17th Ave NW neighborhood greenway a success. Our members have won grant funding to improve the greenways northernmost connection to Whitman School and for the NW 85th St crossing. We have been working with allies to improve the southern end of the greenway and integrate it into Old Ballard.
  • NW 58th St Neighborhood Greenway: We successfully advocated for the NW 58th St neighborhood greenway, activated it with an grand opening party, and have been advocating to upgrade portions of it to make it more family friendly.
  • Seattle's Bicycle Master Plan: We successfully advocated to incorporate 95% our crowd sourced knowledge into Seattle’s Bicycle Master Plan.
  • Crowd sourced mapping: We scouted and identified a crowd-sourced map of important walking and biking routes (see map below – which is now out of date).
